Warning to all SIFER exhibitors

Mack Brooks France would like to warn their exhibitors about Expo Guide/ Fair Guide/Construct Data Verlag, an Austrian organisation that regularly publicises services to exhibitors. The company uses a form which resembles an organiser’s free catalogue listing service, inviting exhibitors to sign and return the form for an entry in an on-line directory, which contracts the purchaser into a three-year, non-retractable agreement.

If you have participated in any of our exhibitions in previous years, or are due to participate this year, you are likely to be targeted.

Other similar organisations have come to our attention. Like Construct Data, they are using misleading forms containing our exhibition names and demanding monies from those who sign in error. These organisations are:

European City Guide
Euro Business Guide
Euro Media Onderzoek

These organisations are in no way connected to Mack Brooks France or any of our events, and we urge you to ignore any correspondence you might receive from them. Under no circumstances should you sign anything indicating that you will become part of an “Exhibition Directory” that will list your products and services, if the letter is sent to you by Expo Guide, Fair Guide or Construct Data Verlag.
